About Me
I am a fierce-loving mama of two teenage children who doesn't get it right all the time, but I sure am trying my best. I have been married to the most wonderful man for 28 years. I am a daughter of the King who is loved, forgiven, and chosen. I am just like you who is fumbling my way through this crazy life, sometimes holding on by a thread, but each day is a new opportunity to get back up and start over.

Blog
Are you a fierce-loving mama also? Then you have come to the right place! Let's journey together!
I began this blog when my oldest child left home. He was the first "out of the nest" and I will tell you that I didn't handle it well. It was all new territory for me saying goodbye to my firstborn and I was a mess. Not much is talked about how much a mother goes through during this transition. As parents, we are supposed to raise our children to grow up and leave our home, but once we do, it can be painful to see them go, for their to be a shift in the new family dynamics, and to wonder what our new role with our adult children will look like.
Because I was struggling, I thought other mothers might be out there struggling, too. So, this blog is not only for me, but for you mamas out there feeling all the feels and not sure what's normal and what isn't. Maybe we can help each other to lock arms and figure out how to mourn together. How to grieve the change our family is experiencing. To be so excited for our children, but utterly wrecked at the thought of them leaving at the same time. It's a new chapter in their lives, and it's a new chapter for us, as well. Thank you for visiting. I hope by coming here you don't feel so alone on this journey as a fierce-loving mama.
Faith
My faith is at the top of my priorities list. As a Christian, much of how I approach situations is affected by my faith. Motherhood is no exception.
But this blog is for mom's of all backgrounds. While I will speak about my faith, because it is my anchor, this change in motherhood isn't exclusive to Christian mamas. All fierce-loving mamas are welcome here.
Disclaimer
I don't have all the answers, but this is a journey I'm on and I'm doing my best. I want to share what I'm learning on this blog in hopes that it would help some moms as they experience it too. We all have to go through this at some point and it's best if we have a community around us who knows what we're going through.
